At McNeilly Custom Drumworks, we are fuelled by passion. We live and breathe drums because we are drummers as well as craftsman. We offer truly custom drums of the highest quality at affordable prices. We use “old world craftsmanship” and EVERY drum is hand-crafted to the highest standards. This is where the “old world” and modern science converge to produce some of the finest instruments on the market.

The discerning drummer knows the difference between mediocre drums and a finely crafted kit. Our mission is to be the BEST drum maker on the planet. We don’t want to be the biggest, just the BEST. We strive for perfection in building the finest instruments with integrity and excellence. We also believe that drums should be affordable to every drummer.

We are proudly “Made in the USA”. We use  American-Made products whenever possible and partner with other American manufacturers to bring you quality hardware. Our drums are not outsourced and they are not mass produced on an assembly line. We hand-craft them from the ground up. We take pride in every step of the process, from hand selecting woods, to building the shells, to installing the hardware.

Anybody can buy drum parts, put them together, and call it a drum. In fact, some companies do just that. That is not what we offer. At McNeilly Custom Drumworks, we offer truly custom drums, and we will walk you through every step of the process and each and every option.

Every detail  affects the performance and look of your drum, from bearing edges, venting options, type of shell construction, to the size and depth of the shell, shell thickness, type of wood the shell is made of, to the type of finish, color of finish, hardware options and hardware colors. You will be involved in helping design your sound and looks of your kit. We will help you achieve that signature sound that you are looking for.
